Senior Game QA Analyst (remote)

Speedway Games is an independent game studio founded in 2020. We develop and operate cross-platform games on Roblox. Our games have received more than 4 billion visits and are played by over 3 million people each day.

  Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced QA Analyst to take ownership of testing some of our live Roblox games.

Our games receive updates every week. You will independently plan and perform testing, identify release risks, verify fixes, and provide a clear assessment of release readiness. This is a hands-on individual contributor role working closely with producers, developers, artists, and designers.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Own QA coverage for weekly updates, larger features, live events, and bug fixes.

• Review upcoming work and create practical, risk-based test plans.

• Test development builds, private test environments, and published Roblox experiences.

• Test across PC, mobile, tablet, and console.

• Test gameplay systems, progression, purchases, data saving, UI, controls, and multiplayer behavior.

• Review integrated vehicles, maps, and other 3D assets for visual problems, gaps, clipping, collision issues, missing materials, incorrect scale, and performance concerns.

• Write clear bug reports with reproduction steps, severity, device details, screenshots, or video.

• Verify fixes, perform regression testing, and complete a final check after updates are published.

• Communicate blockers and release risks early.

• Investigate player-reported issues and verify fixes.

• Maintain QA checklists and improve testing processes over time.

• Coordinate team playtests when additional players or devices are needed.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• At least 3 years of professional game QA experience.

• Strong attention to visual, gameplay, usability, and performance issues.

• Experience testing a live-service game with frequent releases.

• Able to independently plan, prioritize, and complete testing with limited supervision.

• Experience testing games across multiple devices and input methods.

• Able to produce clear, concise, and actionable bug reports.

• Comfortable working directly with developers, artists, and producers.

• Strong written and spoken English.

• Reliable, organized, and able to communicate concerns constructively.

What is important for us in a person?

Nice to have:

• Strong familiarity with Roblox games and the platform’s player experience.

• Familiarity with Roblox Studio and the Developer Console.

• Experience testing vehicle, driving, racing, or open-world games.

• Understanding of Roblox client-server behavior, data persistence, purchases, and content streaming.

• Experience reviewing 3D assets, collisions, lighting, and game performance.

• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools, logs, or basic scripting.
