Intern Strategy - Future Talent Program

Abbott's Established Pharmaceuticals Business seeks a strategy intern for 6-12 months in Basel, Switzerland. The role involves supporting the EPD Strategy Team on high-impact projects, conducting analyses, and contributing to strategic initiatives across emerging markets and cross-functional transformation.

Responsibilities

• Support EPD's strategic agenda development through research, analysis, and business insights
• Collect, consolidate, and analyze data from internal and external sources for strategic decision-making
• Develop quantitative analyses and translate findings into actionable leadership recommendations
• Prepare executive-level presentations including strategic reviews and steering committee materials
• Conduct competitive intelligence, benchmarking analyses, and external research for strategic discussions

Requirements

• Master's or MBA degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Life Sciences, or related field
• Strong interest in corporate strategy, management consulting, or business development
• Previous internship or project experience in strategy, consulting, finance, or business analytics preferred
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; data visualization tools advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with complex data interpretation
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills with attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups in international environment
