Sales Manager DACH - Industrial Automation

For an international industrial company and recognized leader in highly technical equipment and automation solutions, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager DACH to strengthen and develop its commercial activities across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

This position combines business development, technical sales and key account management within an international environment.

Your Mission

You will take responsibility for developing business across the DACH region and building long-term relationships with industrial customers.

• Develop sales activities across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
• Identify, approach and convert new customers and business opportunities.
• Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and technical discussions through negotiation and contract closing.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with existing key customers.
• Build a strong network of customers, partners and industry contacts across the DACH market.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals adapted to specific customer requirements.
• Work closely with Engineering, R&D and Customer Service teams to develop the best solutions.
• Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions and industry events.
• Monitor market developments and identify new applications and business opportunities

Your Profile

• Technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales of technical or industrial products, ideally machinery, automation, packaging or capital equipment.
• Proven experience in business development and complex technical sales.
• Fluent German is essential, ideally native or C1/C2 level.
• Fluent English is essential for daily communication within an international environment.
• French would be considered an advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Strong commercial mindset with a proactive and results-driven approach.
• Autonomous, persistent and comfortable managing a territory independently.
• Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.
• Availability for 30–50% international travel.
