Junior Anaplan Financial Planning & Analysis Solution Architect 80-100%

Zurich is looking to expand by hiring a Financial Planning and Analysis Solution Architect within Business Technology Solutions. 

You will support the definition and implementation of the technical solution architecture for the Business Steering functions of Zurich. 

This role will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure that technology solutions align with business goals and deliver value. 

This Job requires regular physical presence in our Corporate Centre Office and occasional travel

What you will do

• Support end-to-end ANAPLAN (Polaris) solution design across Group and BU levels, translating business requirements into robust solutions aligned with strategies and best practices.
• Contribute to system integration and technical delivery, ensuring seamless data flows between ANAPLAN and platforms like Databricks, using tools such as JIRA/ServiceNow and product version control.
• Apply an AI-first approach, leveraging AI capabilities to accelerate development, reduce manual effort, and identify optimization opportunities within the service.
• Collaborate effectively across stakeholders, working with business teams, developers, data architects, and IT to ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements — communicating technical concepts in a clear and accessible way.
• Contribute to architecture standards and innovation, supporting compliance with security and quality standards while staying current with ANAPLAN and SaaS trends to drive value in the FP&A ecosystem.

What you bring

• Growing ANAPLAN expertise, with 3+ years of experience in Financial Planning, ideally with an ANAPLAN certification (Polaris preferred), and hands-on exposure to FP&A processes and solution design.
• Integration & architecture foundations of Databricks/Datalake concepts, ADO, and a good understanding of SaaS security and compliance principles.
• Clear communication & collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences, contribute effectively in cross-functional teams, and produce clear documentation and presentations in fluent English.
• Developing technical toolkit, with desirable skills across Cloud (AWS), Databricks, Advanced Excel, JIRA, Python, and Data Science — paired with strong analytical thinking and a proactive approach to managing priorities.
