You will lead a team of experts, working closely with software and platform teams, business stakeholders and support functions. /p /br /brh3Your role /h3 /brpAs Head of Unit – Network Security, you will own the vision, governance and operational excellence for your perimeter (Run Change). You will ensure stability, performance, resilience and security of services, while driving infrastructure modernisation, AI adoption and network resilience. You will act as a senior technical and people leader, able to engage with business stakeholders, build and take strategic decisions and develop your teams. /p /br /brh3Key Responsibilities /h3 /br /brh3Network resilience and security /h3 /brul /brliStrengthen the resilience of LAN and WAN networks, with a specific focus on emerging cyber threats and geopolitical risks. /li /brliEnsure robust architectures, redundancy mechanisms and disaster recovery capabilities across your perimiter. /li /brliWork closely with security teams (SOC, CISO, architecture) to align your services with security policies, standards and regulatory requirements. /li /br /ul /br /brh3Production stability and continuous improvement /h3 /brul /brliEstablish disciplined change management practices and a strong “open loop” culture to prevent and re‑solve production issues effectively. /li /brliReduce recurring incidents by reinforcing root cause analysis, engaging teams in continuous improvement practices and ensuring corrective actions are documented, followed up and closed. /li /brliDefine and monitor KPIs/KRIs related to stability, incident recurrence and service quality for your perime-ter. /li /br /ul /br /brh3AI adoption and innovation /h3 /brul /brliDrive the adoption of AI technologies and implement AI‑assisted capabilities within your department to increase efficiency and quality of deliverables. /li /brliPromote and oversee the integration of AI‑powered features into the platforms under your responsibility (e.g. automation, intelligent monitoring, smart routing). /li /br /ul /br /brh3Infrastructure modernisation and cloud /h3 /brul /brliDefine and execute a structured plan to modernise existing network and security infrastructure, with clear milestones for reducing technical debt and legacy dependencies. /li /brliSupport and guide the adoption of cloud and hybrid architectures for network and security services, in line with Group strategy and architecture guidelines. /li /br /ul /br /brh3People leadership and collaboration /h3 /brul /brliLead and develop heads of teams and teams of engineers and administrators (internal staff and external partners), ensuring clear roles, responsibilities and performance objectives. /li /brliFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, transparency and continuous learning, especially around incident management and innovation. /li /brliCollaborate with other infrastructure and application leaders to ensure coherent end‑to‑end solutions and effective communication. /li /br /ul /br /brh3Your profile /h3 /brul /brliUniversity degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering or equivalent. /li /brli8-12 years of experience in IT infrastructure within a banking or financial environment, including several years in leadership roles. /li /brliProven track record managing complex networks and security infrastructures in highly available and regulated environments. /li /brliStrong knowledge of networking technologies and data centre/cloud network architectures. /li /brliSolid understanding of security solutions (firewalls, SASE, Zero‑Trust principles) and cybersecurity best practices. /li /brliProven experience with automation and scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Ansible) to industrialise operations and support AI‑assisted workflows. /li /brliRecognised leadership, with the ability to inspire and manage multidisciplinary teams and external partners. /li /brliStrong communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical topics to non‑technical stakeholders and senior management /li /brliStrategic mindset, structured and solution‑oriented, with a strong focus on risk management and prioritisation. /li /brliClient‑oriented, with a genuine sense of service and the ability to act as a trusted partner to business stakeholders. /li /brliFluent in English and French, both spoken and written. /li /brliMust be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate. /li /br /ul /br /brh3Note /h3 /brpHUNS / NVT / AA /p /brpWe will not accept any CVs via agencies /p /br /brh3Diversity Inclusion /h3 /brpPictet is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse environment.
