We will do this by transforming everything we do, every process, data and tool and injecting new ways of work and AI to amplify our Finance talent. /p pbr/The Business Solution Architect – Finance Transformation plays a key role in the technology stream, ensuring that Group Finance leverages the right platforms for the right processes – across planning, consolidation, reporting and analytics. /p pbr/This senior role will translate business needs into an integrated solution architecture, guide platform choices and help ensure that tools such as SAP Group Reporting, Anaplan and Databricks are used effectively and consistently across the Group. /p bWhat you will do /b ul liDefine and evolve the end to end solution architecture for Group Finance processes (planning, consolidation, reporting, analytics and performance management). /li liEnsure each process is supported by the most suitable platform (e.g. SAP Group Reporting for consolidation, Anaplan for planning, Databricks for data and analytics), avoiding duplication and custom “shadow IT”. /li liTranslate requirements into solution designs, integration patterns and implementation options, balancing standardisation, flexibility and cost. /li liChallenge and refine business requirements to fit platform capabilities and long term architecture principles. /li liDefine how Finance platforms integrate (SAP, Anaplan, Databricks, reporting/BI tools) to deliver consistent, governed data for planning and reporting. /li liContribute to the Finance data architecture (data domains, models, flows, lineage) and ensure that key data (actuals, plans, scenarios, KPIs) is managed as a single source of truth. /li liSupport solution review and design authority processes, ensuring new initiatives adhere to agreed architecture. /li liAct as lead Business Solution Architect across key Finance Transformation projects and technology initiatives. /li liProvide guidance to project teams on solution options, trade offs and technical risks. /li liReview key design artefacts (solution designs, interface specs, data models) and support issue resolution. /liliCollaborate closely with Group Finance leadership, BU Finance, Group IT, data/analytics teams and platform owners /li liExplain complex architecture topics in clear business language and build consensus around design decisions. /li liContribute to communication and education on the target Finance technology landscape /li liPropose improvements to the Finance architecture, including better use of Anaplan and Databricks, standardisation of data and simplification of the system landscape. /li /ul pbr/bWhat you bring /b /p ul liStrong experience in Finance / Group Finance processes, such as planning and forecasting, consolidation, reporting, performance management or capital management. /li liProven track record in solution architecture or senior business/IT design roles within Finance transformation programmes. /li liExperience with SAP finance platforms (e.g. S/4HANA Finance, SAP Group Reporting) and their role in Group reporting. /li liKnowledge of Anaplan and Databricks is a strong advantage. /li liSolid understanding of data and integration architecture /li liExperience working in complex, global programmes, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector. /li liAbility to lead solution design across multiple projects, balancing strategic direction and pragmatic delivery. /li liStrong stakeholder management skills; comfortable working with senior Finance and IT stakeholders, platform owners and external partners. /li liStructured, analytical and solution oriented mindset. /li liAbility to simplify complexity and communicate clearly to non technical audiences. /li liStrong collaboration skills and a “one team” attitude, supporting both Finance and IT colleagues. /li liFluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage. /li /ul bYou b elong here. /b pbr/Imagine working in one of the world’s most sustainable workplaces.
