Accountant AI Automation Focus | Consumer Goods | Geneva

A fast-growing group is seeking an accountant to join an entrepreneurial international business in Geneva that is redefining its finance function through AI and automation.

Working as part of a small, agile finance team, you will report directly to the CFO of the Swiss business, offering strong exposure and the opportunity to make a real impact.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting (AP, AR, payroll postings, reconciliations)
• Manage and improve purchase-to-pay processes
• Support quarterly closings and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with the Swiss Code of Obligations and Swiss GAAP
• Work with ERP systems (NetSuite)
• Contribute to AI, automation, and RPA initiatives using tools such as Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT

Candidate profile

• 3–5 years’ experience in accounting or audit
• Strong technical accounting fundamentals
• Familiarity with Swiss accounting standards
• Interest in automation / AI in finance
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite a plus)
• French preferred, English required
• Must be eligible to work in Switzerland
• Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to operate effectively in a lean, fast-paced environment
