THE POSITION These are your key tasks: Lead product leadership and strategy by defining, designing, and delivering FIFA’s digital content products across all owned platforms, managing the full product lifecycle and aligning product strategies with divisional goals. Drive innovation and consistency by developing product roadmaps, calendars, and budgets that balance creativity and efficiency, providing strategic insights that shape FIFA’s digital vision and translating priorities into actionable initiatives that deliver measurable engagement and value. Ensure effective product delivery and implementation by managing all product requirements—such as text, video, graphics, and statistics for corporate and competition coverage across digital platforms, ensuring delivery quality and adherence to schedule and budget. Coordinate with editorial, technical, and communications teams to manage product rollouts through sprint planning, briefings, and reviews, validating progress through user‑acceptance testing and post‑deployment checks. Define and supervise business needs for core digital tools and features (e.g., SEO, search, video players, APIs) to guarantee high editorial and technical standards. Drive collaboration and stakeholder engagement by leading requirements‑gathering sessions and workshops with colleagues and key business stakeholders, translating needs into a clear and prioritised product backlog. Facilitate cross‑divisional coordination to align content creation and platform delivery, ensure communications perspectives are represented in cross‑functional projects (e.g., CMS, CRM, and regional platforms), and develop strong partnerships with internal teams to secure alignment, support, and shared accountability. Oversee content operations and platform excellence by collaborating with content teams to coordinate multilingual, multimedia, photographic, and statistical content across FIFA digital platforms, ensuring brand and editorial consistency. Manage communications‑specific products and oversee CMS management and live support, and ensure effective tagging and organisation of data and assets within the FIFA Digital Hub (FDH). Support video production for corporate and competition activities, maintaining the highest editorial and compliance standards. Promote digital innovation and continuous improvement by fostering a digital‑first culture that replaces outdated processes with modern, scalable solutions. Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies and AI‑based tools to enhance efficiency and user experience, conduct research and benchmarking to inform ongoing optimisation, and ensure all products deliver exceptional experiences for both content creators and audiences. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting, while championing user‑centric design, continuous improvement, and scalable digital product ecosystems across the FIFA Communications Division. The specific competencies we require for this position are: 7+ years of digital product management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role Proven track record delivering large-scale digital products (web, mobile apps, platforms) Experience working with global, cross-functional teams Strong understanding of Agile and modern product development practices Proven Experience in working with headless CMS Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics tools and experimentation Experience working in football, sports, media or entertainment industry Background in managing content platforms Proven record of successful deliveries of various complexities within global and multi-cultural organisations Solid technical background with understanding or hands‑on experience in implementation Experience in requirements gathering for applications and subsequent translation of requirements in user stories Excellent English skills, including writing, communication, and presentation An outstanding team spirit with an entrepreneurial mindset that thrives when being challenged Ability to foster long‑term relationships with key professionals Attention to detail PERKS BENEFITS The biggest benefit of a career at FIFA is the privilege to work for the beautiful game and create something that matters.
