It conducts technological and clinical research with the aim of continuously advancing proton beam therapy and expanding its range of clinical applications. In addition to its research activities, the Center for Proton Therapy provides a clinical treatment program for patients with indications, which are recognized by the Swiss healthcare system. Radiation Oncologist - Pediatric and Adult Patients Job details % Your tasks Medical assessment and clinical care of pediatric and adult patients, including treatment planning and delivery of proton therapy Close collaboration with the anesthesia team at the University Children's Hospital Zurich Initiation and participation in clinical studies, with a particular focus on pediatric indications Evaluation of treatment outcomes and publication of results in peer-reviewed medical journals Presentation of clinical findings at national and international conferences Active contribution to and representation of the Center for Proton Therapy within national and international professional networks Your profile Specialist qualification in radiation oncology with solid clinical experience (a board certification is required) Experience in pediatric oncology is an advantage but not a prerequisite Strong interest in patient-centered clinical care, clinical research, medical physics and the further development of proton therapy A high level of initiative and innovation, a strong sense of responsibility, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when working with children and their families Motivation to further specialize in pediatric radiation oncology and to build a strong national and international clinical network Interest in working in a multidisciplinary and multinational environment Demonstrated scientific interest and experience in publishing research findings Very good command of English; good command of German is an advantage We offer Our institution is based on an interdisciplinary, innovative and dynamic collaboration.
