Process Engineer PAR NPI/LCM

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Staff Process Engineer to lead new product introductions and lifecycle management for parenteral drug products at their Schaffhausen facility. The role involves technology transfer, process validation, compliance support, and cross-functional collaboration to commercialize innovative medicines.
Responsibilities
- Lead technology transfer projects for new product commercialization and batch execution
- Execute engineering runs, clinical batches, and validation batches with Operations and Engineering teams
- Direct improvement initiatives to strengthen process robustness and compliance performance
- Manage change controls, recipes, and documentation updates for assigned projects
- Serve as subject matter expert during audits, inspections, and regulatory interactions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in natural sciences or engineering; master's degree preferred
- 4+ years pharmaceutical industry experience, including 2+ years in parenteral or pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Experience introducing parenteral products into manufacturing sites
- Knowledge of compounding, milling, filling, and manufacturing site systems like SAP or PAS-X
- Fluency in German and English, written and verbal communication
- Strong planning, logistics, and independent problem-solving abilities
