Waitress/Waiter (m/f/d) for Winter Season

Position Overview:

Hotel Silberhorn & Spa, a renowned hotel located in the heart of the beautiful Swiss Alps in Wengen, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Waitress/Waiter  (m/f/d) to join our team for the upcoming winter season. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Service – Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service in the restaurant, bar, and terrace areas.
• Order Taking & Recommendations – Advise guests on menu choices, take orders accurately, and ensure special requests are met.
• Food & Beverage Service – Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high quality and presentation standards.
• Billing & Payments – Process guest bills correctly and handle cash and card payments.
• Preparation & Setup – Set up tables, buffets, and service stations according to hotel standards.
• Cleanliness & Organization – Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
• Teamwork & Coordination – Work closely with kitchen, bar, and reception staff to provide a seamless guest experience.
• Guest Interaction – Create a welcoming atmosphere and address guest requests or concerns with professionalism and a smile.

Requirements:

• Experience & Skills – Previous experience in service or hospitality is an advantage, but motivated newcomers are also welcome.
• Language Proficiency – Good English and German skills (additional languages like French are a plus).
• Guest-Oriented Mindset – A warm, friendly, and service-oriented personality with a passion for hospitality.
• Team Player – Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues from different departments.
• Flexibility & Resilience – Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, and perform well in a dynamic environment.
• Professional Appearance – A well-groomed and professional demeanor that reflects the high standards of the hotel.
• Efficiency & Organization – Ability to work independently, stay organized, and handle tasks efficiently during busy service hours.
