The one thing they all have in common is that they seek to challenge the status quo, are imaginative and have the ability to offer a fresh perspective.Bank Lombard Odier & Co Ltd in Geneva is looking for a candidate to fulfil the following mission statement:Compliance Business & Project ManagerThe TeamThe Compliance COO team has been set up to provide transversal support to the Compliance unit and in particular:Ensure Compliance has the right resources to operate effectively, in terms of budget, systems, processes, information, governance (“Run the Bank”);Define, drive and oversee the Compliance transformation agenda (“Change the Bank”).We are a small and dynamic team, involved in numerous activities and projects both within Compliance and across the Lombard Odier Group.YOUR MISSION:As Compliance Business & Project Manager, you will report to the Compliance COO and will have a mix of Run the Bank and Change the Bank responsibilities.Run the BankSupport the Compliance COO in the establishment and management of the Unit's governance, budgeting and organisational processes;Act as the key point of contact for Compliance Business Intelligence (development of standardised KPIs, KRIs and management information);Act as the Unit’s Business Risk manager in charge of ensuring alignment and compliance with all internal business and risk policies and guidelines.Change the BankEstablishing governance and oversight over the overall project portfolio within Compliance, ensuring clarity and consistency of deliverables, timely execution, budget follow up and a robust framework for addressing risks and dependencies;Managing specific transformation projects with significant IT components (for example, the replacement or deployment of new monitoring or compliance risk management tools);Reviewing and streamlining processes with to the aim of simplifying the way we work, standardising our operating model across the Group and enhancing the effectiveness of our control environment;Representing Compliance in Group projects and ensuring perfect alignment and integration with the Bank’s strategic vision.DESIRED PROFILE:University degree in Finance, Business Management, Engineering or related fields, or evidence of comparable academic / work achievement;7/10 years of experience in Financial Services and/or Consulting across a broad range of strategy, IT and business transformation programmes. Experience of Compliance transformation would be a significant plus;Strong analytical skills, the ability to summarize complex topics, drive practical outcomes and to make sound, evidenced-backed recommendations, as well as the ability to work well under pressure and against short deadlines;Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic business environment, and a willingness to learn and evolve within the team;Strong interpersonal, communication & presentation skills, and the ability to foster productive relationships and build consensus with a diverse set of stakeholders at all levels of seniority and technical knowledge;Strong IT skills (Excel, Powerpont, Visio) ;Fluent in English and French;Resident in Switzerland.réf.: aamIf you recognise yourself in this description, then please do apply.
