Sales Manager - Renewable Energy | Switzerland (French-speaking Regions)

An established global technology business within the renewable energy sector is looking to appoint an experienced Sales Manager to drive business growth across French-speaking Switzerland.

The Role

As the regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while growing existing customer relationships across the Swiss market. Working closely with internal technical, product and marketing teams, you will play a key role in expanding market share and supporting customers with technically driven solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing the regional sales strategy.
• Managing and expanding relationships with installers, distributors, EPCs, utilities, project developers and commercial customers.
• Identifying and securing new business opportunities across the territory.
• Delivering product presentations, technical training and customer workshops.
• Providing technical support during the planning and design of photovoltaic projects.
• Working alongside product management to provide market feedback and support future product development.
• Conducting market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Representing the business at industry events, exhibitions and customer meetings.

About You

We're looking for an ambitious sales professional with a strong technical understanding of the photovoltaic industry.

You will ideally have:

• Experience selling technical products within the renewable energy or photovoltaic sector.
• Strong knowledge of the Swiss solar market and established industry relationships.
• A technical or commercial qualification (degree, technician, apprenticeship or equivalent).
• A proven track record of developing new business while managing key customer accounts.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in French (written and spoken). English is beneficial.
• A self-motivated, proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
