Principal Project Manager

Principal Project Manager role at Johnson & Johnson's DePuy Synthes orthopedics division, based in Zuchwil, Switzerland. Responsibilities

• Coordinate EU Notified Body submissions including applications and project tracking for new and modified medical devices
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and status reports for stakeholders and leadership
• Identify project risks and issues, implement mitigation strategies, and escalate when necessary
• Serve as primary DePuy Synthes contact for MDR applications, change notifications, and recurring meetings with Notified Body representatives
• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance project management processes and systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in project management, regulatory affairs, life sciences, engineering, or related field
• 5–8 years of project management experience, preferably in medical device industry
• Proven track record managing cross-functional projects in regulated medical device environments
• Strong project planning, scheduling, and organizational capabilities
• Proficiency with MS Office and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
• Fluent English (written and verbal); German language skills a plus
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
