At Workrate you’ll be part of a unique security concept. Workrate provides Security for datacentres across several European cities, like Amsterdam, London, Frankfurt & Geneva.

This is what your work looks like:

You play an important role in datacentre security; the foundation of the digital economy. The much-discussed 5G networks, Internet of Things, cloud, virtual reality: all this and many more technologies are housed in datacentres. And it's up to you to keep these important computer servers running. You do this by keeping an eye on monitors and camera images. Ideal, you do not need to be a bundle of muscles for this security function.

Do you notice a malfunction? Then you inform the customer and Workrate via our software. You receive visitors from behind your counter and you also accept packages. Is someone unable or unwilling to identify themselves? Then you address him or her about this. The training for security guard that you follow during working hours comes in handy. This also means you know exactly what to do when you - always together with a colleague - walk your rounds. You have a fixed workplace located in Meyrin, so you quickly get to know the others in your team.

Workrate Security Officer Minimum Profile

Basics

• Willing to get a security license on a short term (we will help you with that)

• Excellent command of French and English languages;

• Excellent Microsoft Office skills;

• Good human relations skills;

• Well-kept appearance;

• Representative in accordance with Workrate standards;

• Motivated and dedicated mindset.

Service minded & Integrity

• Serviceable, service mentality, flexible, and client-oriented;

• Capable of fast and adequate response and action;

• Open and honest.

Composure & problem solving skills

• Able to perform well under high pressure working conditions;

• Openness to new work activities, eagerness to learn, and willingness to receive frequent extracurricular training;
