Reporting directly to the Head AML Transaction Monitoring- Vice-Director, you will be in charge of the supervision of the operational activities and the people management in accordance with your senior management.Key responsibilitiesOperations management:Lead and manage the Compliance Monitoring team, including task coordination, performance management, and professional development of team members;Oversee compliance and AML reviews of crypto currency transfers, ensuring timely and accurate analysis of higher-risk transactions;Oversee compliance and AML reviews of cash, securities and crypto currency transfers made by Financial Institutions, ensuring timely and accurate analysis of higher-risk transactions;Supervise the handling of sanctions alerts, providing escalation and final validation as needed;Supervise the investigation on potentially suspicious clients;Drive the optimization of internal procedures, including drafting, reviewing, and updating internal policies and guidelines;Represent Compliance in key regulatory and strategic projects, ensuring the monitoring function is embedded in business initiatives;Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and front-line teams, offering clear and pragmatic compliance guidance.Team Management:Leading and supporting the Monitoring team:Fostering a positive work atmosphere where employees feel motivated, valued, and connected to the team and the organization;Promoting collaboration, trust, and cohesion among team members;Addressing any potential conflicts among team members to your senior management and/or HR Partner;Supporting employee growth through training, mentorship, coaching, and advancement opportunities.Hiring:Leading the recruitment process with your Talent Acquisition Partner;Ensuring new hires are properly introduced to the team, the organization, its culture, policies, and their specific roles.Performance Management: Setting performance expectations, providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and addressing any performance issues.Conducting under performance process with the help of your Senior Management and HR Partner.University degree in Law, Economics, or a related field – a certification in Compliance Management is a strong asset;Significant experience (minimum 5–7 years) in a Compliance function within the financial industry, with proven leadership and team management skills;Fluent in English and French; German is a strong asset;Strong analytical mindset and structured, methodical approach;Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills;Collaborative leader, comfortable working in a multicultural, dynamic, and tech-driven environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
