It comes from our belief that life is richer when we truly connect to the people and the world around us. /ph3About the location: /h3pAbout The Role /ppAs Security and Safety Manager, you will lead the Security and Safety function of The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel, ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, assets and property. /ppReporting to the General Manager, you will take ownership of the hotel’s day‑to‑day security operation, risk management, emergency preparedness and crisis response. As a Department Head, you will establish a proactive and service‑oriented security culture across the hotel, combining sound judgement, discretion and operational expertise with the warmth and care that define Four Seasons. /ppThis is a permanent, full‑year position, joining our pre‑opening team in March 2027 ahead of the hotel’s Summer 2027 opening. /ph3What You Will Do /h3ulliLead all security and safety activities across the hotel, protecting guests, employees, assets and the property /liliLead, develop and supervise the Security team and coordinate external security providers where applicable /liliOversee physical security systems and procedures, including access control, CCTV, alarms, key security, patrols and incident management /liliConduct risk assessments and investigations and ensure appropriate reporting, follow‑up and preventive measures /liliLead the hotel’s security emergency preparedness and crisis management activities, including procedures, drills and employee training /liliCoordinate security planning for VIP stays, special events and other higher‑risk activities /liliMaintain strong relationships with local police, fire and emergency services and work closely with hotel leadership and relevant Four Seasons security resources /liliLead security readiness for the hotel opening and continuously develop the property’s security standards and practices /li /ulh3What You Bring /h3ulliA degree, diploma or recognised professional qualification in Security Management, Risk Management, Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred /liliMinimum five years of progressive experience in security, safety or risk management, including previous leadership responsibility, ideally within luxury hospitality or another high‑service environment /liliDemonstrated experience in physical security, incident management, investigations, emergency preparedness and crisis response /liliStrong knowledge of access control, CCTV, alarm and other physical security systems /liliExcellent judgement, discretion and problem‑solving skills, with confidence handling sensitive and high‑pressure situations /liliStrong communication, reporting and training skills; experience working with law enforcement, emergency services and external security providers /liliFluent English and German and/or French; additional languages are advantageous /liliValid driving licence; First Aid/CPR, Health Safety, fire safety or recognised security certifications are advantageous /liliIn accordance with Swiss employment regulations, only candidates holding Swiss or EU/EFTA citizenship, or a valid Swiss work authorization, can be considered for this position /li /ulh3What We Offer /h3ulliCompetitive compensation and benefits /liliComplimentary meals during working shifts /liliEmployee accommodation subject to availability and applicable conditions /liliFour Seasons employee benefits, including preferential rates at Four Seasons hotels and resorts worldwide /liliLearning, development and international career opportunities within Four Seasons /liliAccess to the Four Seasons travel benefit after six months of service /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
