NonStop Consulting AG is looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our client’s team in Däniken, Solothurn .

About our client:
It is an internationally recognised supplier of high-quality appliances and services in the field of Electrical Manufacturing. Our client is one of the largest employers in the Solothurn region giving lots of development opportunities to its employees.

Responsibilities of the role:

Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations and Swiss GAAP FER
Coordinating and preparing external and internal audits and accompanying them as a contact person
Developing the new ERP environment from the very beginning and defining, testing and introducing modern financial systems and supporting the implementation of new BI tools
Helping the CFO in his daily work related to cash management / liquidity planning
Acting as the contact person for the banks
Responsible for tax matters (tax returns, tax calculations, various topics relating to direct and indirect taxes)
Serving as an interface to brokers
Acting as a business partner in order to advise on upcoming financial topics and to support in financial matters

Requirements for your profile:

Several years of experience as an accountant preferably in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing company with export to many countries worldwide;
Hands-on experience with SwissGAAP FER and OR;
Key user knowledge in the SAP FI module and the process knowledge for the underlying processes;
Degree in the field of finance/accounting (accountant level, expert in accounting and controlling, etc.);
Advanced project management skills;
Fluency in German and English.
